Our Story

From one widow's medical bill to a movement

In 2013, a small group of neighbours in the Mirzo Khail community pooled their own savings to cover a widow's emergency surgery. What began as an informal collection tin passed hand to hand grew, year by year, into a structured welfare organization.

Today, MKWO runs ten active programs spanning orphan sponsorship, education, healthcare, clean water, emergency relief and Islamic giving (Zakat, Sadaqah and Qurbani). Every field coordinator lives in or near the community they support, and every rupee is tracked from the donor's hand to the beneficiary's doorstep.

We are not a large, distant charity. We are the Mirzo Khail community, organized — and we invite you to be part of that organization.

Mission, Vision & Values

What guides every decision we make

Our Mission

To restore dignity to underserved families in and around the Mirzo Khail community through direct, accountable programs in education, health, clean water, emergency relief and Islamic giving.

Our Vision

A community where no child is out of school for lack of fees, no household walks an hour for clean water, and no family faces an emergency alone.

Compassion

We treat every beneficiary as we would our own family.

Transparency

Every donation is tracked; our accounts are open to any donor who asks.

Community-Led

Field coordinators are drawn from the communities we serve.

Accountability

Programs are reviewed quarterly against measurable outcomes.

Registration & Governance

Registered, governed, and open to scrutiny
